Our Founder

Terry Tillman

East Coast Barbers in Motion Inc. was founded in early 2007 by President Terry W. Tillman. Terry is a college graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration. In addition to his degree, Terry is also a licensed Barber.

Terry opened his first barbershop in 1999 in Pennsylvania. After the success of his first business, he decided to open a second business in Pennsylvania. He owned and managed both shops for many years before making a decision to start a traveling barbershop company. He came upon the idea for the traveling barbershop when he saw that a small percentage of his clients were from halfway houses, prison work release programs and group homes. Seeing that the need was there, he made a decision to travel to these facilities and provide his services.

In essence, he uncovered a need that needed to be addressed by a company that was willing to travel to a variety of public and private facilities to provide on site hair service.
